Some of the chronic wounds treated include:
- Diabetic wounds, which can be slow healing due to long-term diabetic complications
- Chronic and non-healing wounds, which are persistent wounds that have not healed within 6 weeks.
- Pressure injuries, such as tissue damage caused by prolonged tissue or friction
- Neuropathic wounds, occurring in patients with nerve damage
- Surgical wounds from incisions or wounds from surgical procedures
- Burns and injuries from heat, electrical, chemical, or radiation burns
- Traumatic wounds caused by accidents
- Osteomyelitis, or bone infections, which do not heal from standard treatments.
- Osteoradionecrosis, which are delayed effects of radiation injuries
- Skin tears from fragile skin, or resulting from an injury
- Other wounds caused by dermatological conditions, medical conditions, infections, and cancer
