- Implantable Loop Recorder – a small heart monitor that is placed beneath the skin on the chest to record data about heart events for up to three years.
- Tilt Table Test – A test that moves the patient from a lying position to a standing position while continuously monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, and any symptoms to determine the cause of any unexplained loss of consciousness.
- Event or Holter Monitoring – Recording and storing EKGs by wearing an external monitor for a limited time, such as 24 hours, or up to 30 days.
