Caruthersville, MO (March 4, 2024) – Melissa Watkins, FNP has joined the West Tennessee Healthcare family as a part of the staff of West Tennessee Medical Care Primary Care Caruthersville. Melissa received her bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Besides working as an RN case manager, Melissa served as the Director of the LPN Program at Three Rivers College and most recently as an Assistant Professor and Second Year Coordinator for Arkansas Northeastern College. She holds a nurse educator master’s degree from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. She graduated in December from Arkansas State College’s Post-Master FNP program. She is excited to bring her teaching skills out of the classroom and into the clinical setting to improve health outcomes for her patients.
