Malik Murtaza, MD, completed his undergraduate studies at The Aga Khan University, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2014. He then pursued his medical residency in Internal Medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital. Subsequently, he underwent a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, followed by an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Throughout his medical career, Dr. Malik Murtaza has received numerous accolades and committee appointments. Notably, he held the position of Chief Fellow at the University of Arizona and was recognized as the Fellow of the Year. Additionally, he actively participated in the Inpatient Hospitalist Committee, where he contributed to improving patient outcomes and quality of care. Furthermore, he served on the Patient Safety Committee, demonstrating his dedication to ensuring patient well-being.
