Dr. Laurel Campbell’s first twenty years of adulthood beyond college were spent raising a family and teaching high school biology and various science classes. She earned her medical degree, and matched to LSU Medical Sciences Center in Lafayette, LA, for an Internal Medicine Residency, in 2007. Upon completion of residency, she began her career as an outpatient Internist at a rural health clinic of Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. People are amazing creatures, and everyone has a story, and she find it an incredible privilege to be allowed to peer into people’s
lives and most intimate details in a quest to improve their overall well-being. She hopes that when people remember her, they will remember that they felt worthwhile, heard, and sincerely cared-for when in her care.
