Dr. J. Daniel Day obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He then completed his surgical internship and residency at the Mercer University School of Medicine/Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia.
Prior to pursuing his medical career, J. Daniel Day, MD graduated from Central High School in Knoxville. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Dr. Day shares his life with his wife, Mary Lawson, and their three children: Samuel, Richard, and Della.
