Dr. Andrew Myers’ educational journey began at Vanderbilt University, where he obtained a degree in biomedical engineering. He then pursued a master’s degree at Georgetown University before earning his Medical Degree from The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. His medical training continued with a residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he not only served as administrative chief resident but also received the prestigious outstanding resident teaching award.

Dr. Myers, a native of Atlanta, has served the Jackson community for over a decade. His medical practice encompasses the full spectrum of general surgery. However, he holds a particular interest in robotic and endocrine surgery. As the Jackson Madison County General Hospital Surgeon Champion, he actively collaborates with the Tennessee Hospital Association to enhance surgical care and outcomes throughout the state.

In his personal life, Dr. Andrew Myers is happily married and has the pleasure of raising two young children. Both Dr. Myers and his wife take an active role in their community and cherish the moments they spend with their family during leisure hours.
