Adil Ayub, MD, obtained his medical degree from Aga Khan University in Pakistan. Following his studies, he embarked on a research fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital located in New York City. During this fellowship, his primary focus was on the intricate field of tracheal bioengineering. Subsequently, he continued his medical training with a residency in General Surgery at the University of Texas in Galveston.
Dr. Adil Ayub then completed a fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he gained expertise in treating complex GI cancers, including colorectal malignancies, small bowel, peritoneal surface malignancies, melanoma, sarcoma, and other skin cancers. Throughout his career, he has published over 50 papers and served as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals.
In his personal life, Dr. Ayub recently relocated to Tennessee with his family, including his wife who is also a physician and their two boys. During his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring new places, cooking delicious meals, and playing music.
