Melissa grew up in the small town of Hickman, KY before moving to continue her education. She has such a feeling of purpose about coming full circle in her career to offer Women’s Health services affiliated with WTH Volunteer Hospital where her nursing career began and her two daughters were born. She is honored to be able to join with West Tennessee Medical Group’s mission to offer women’s healthcare services closer to their home.
She is passionate about educating patients regarding the importance of preventive care and helping them improve health outcomes through education and management of their obstetric and gynecological health conditions. Melissa especially enjoys building relationships with patients.
“There are so many confusing issues with conflicting information regarding testing, treatment options, available medicines, PAPs, menopause, libido, etc. I hope to help work with my patients to find the best answers for them as an individual. I am looking forward to serving the people of West Tennessee and working with West Tennessee Medical Group,” she said.
