About
The Recovery Navigators Suite is a Pathways office located in the heart of the emergency department. These individuals with lived experience in substance use disorders and recovery respond to calls from emergency department staff and physicians to engage with patients who present with substance use disorders. Navigators work to support these individuals from the emergency deparmtne to whatever treatment or support options they desire. Follow up support and check-ins are provided for up to six months following the emergency department visit. These services offered by certified recovery peer specialists (SPRS) are alos available via telehealth at all West Tennessee Healthcare emergency departments.
As a National Health Service Corps site, we promise to: serve all patients, offer discounted fees for patients who qualify, not deny services based on a person’s race, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or inability to pay. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, Children’s Health Insurance Program.
